Truth is understood when we look at the structure of reality to define our meaning. Deception is when we look at the structure of our meaning to define reality. One is a lens, the other is a filter.
(V2B1 2:49)
The truth is revealed through the behavior structure of real events. It is not based on the meanings of words unless they accurately represent real structure. Words are symbols that may or may not agree with real events. Words that do reveal truth agree with real structures.
(V1B1 1:4-5)
Without a reliable standard for interpreting truth we cannot know it. Real structure is the standard for truth.
(V1B1 1:41)
Life is no exception to the principle that truth is revealed through structure. Life is a structure. The truth about life is revealed through understanding the structure of life. Changing the structure of life changes the experience of life. If we poison or nourish the structure of life, it changes the way life is experienced.
(V1B1 1:42-46)
The answer to why we experience life the way we do is simple: Our values generate behaviors that define our experiences and these values are either in or out of agreement with life. They either hit the target of life, or they don't.
(V2B1 1:36)
The vision and power to shape our experience intentionally can be blocked and stripped by deception and ignorance.
(V2B1 1:47)
Many of us bang our way through life like a ventriloquist dummy waiting for existing culture to operate our mouth and arms in ways we wouldn't choose and don't understand. We do our ventriloquist dummy act until we break down into a heap of moist dirt. Because our values are infected with disharmonious crap, we eventually experience being disharmonious crap in the form of suffering, disease, and death. We become what we perceive. Our experience reflects our values.
Because we are one body of life; our experience of life is connected to the values that are present in the whole body of life. Because of this, each of us is a voice in the choir, but together we are the whole choir.
Together we define whether our experience of life will be harmonious or disharmonious.
As one body of life we see the value of the role of being a healer-nourisher so that we "sing" a harmonious new song in agreement with life.
We must increase our understanding and nourish behaviors that are harmonious with life in order to realize the fullness of life.
(V2B1 3:9-16)
Life is as it always has been; a teacher and a guide, but not an enforcer. Life points the way, but it does not force the choice upon us. The choices about what we value belong to us, as do the consequences of those choices. Our relationship with life defines our experience of life.
(V2B1 3:19-21)
It is not hard to see the basic message of the requirement for harmonious complementary relationships built into the structure of life. It is difficult to remain focused on this fundamental value in the midst of a culture with so many conflicting values. This is the challenge and the task we must face in order to realize the full measure of life.
(V2B1 4:40)
The Wisdom of Life establishes the message communicated through the structure of life as the standard for what is of "real" value; then compares our current values to those communicated through life. Finally, it reveals our power and purpose by showing us how changing our values, also changes our experiences toward greater harmony with life.
(Volume 2) is expected to be released around December 2008. |
